I am trying to find an e-mail address to report to Barclays that they keep sending me e-mails for someone else (I've never had an account with them).

Thanks, U. I have already dafted an e-mail, but it bounced back when I sent it; it was to CEO of customer Service, and is probably out of date. Barclays website seems to cater only for their customers.

U: I'm trying their chat now.
When I was working - different bank - there wasn't any general email addresses, we all had our own but gave them out sparingly to customers or we would have probably have been inundated. Mainly to be used internally.
I think that link for non customers is probably the nearest thing.
Things may be different now and somebody better at digging round the internet may be able to come up with something later.

Are you even sure that the emails are genuine?

If they're addressed to "Dear Mr Andrew Theist", they might well be.

However if they're addressed to "Dear Customer" they're almost certainly scam emails, which are sent out to millions of email addresses at random in the hope of finding people who're both Barclay's customers and highly gullible.
Write something down and pop it into Barclays. The old ways are sometimes best and it won't take a min.

Its probly not a genuine barclays email . Have you looked at the raw message detail to see the header's??
Our local Barclays are shut, or so i found out when trying to find one to print off a lot of statements, one at Kings Cross has moved to Euston road, that was closed, and the other i tried had closed its doors for the covid duration. not helpful at all.

The e-mails do not have an opening "Dear....."
I do believe they are genuine, and simply mailshots to a customer who has agreed to Barclays sending info/offers etc. I have been forwarding them to Barclays security dept, but they now (after I suggested I might contact the press about it) tell me they are unable to communicate with Barclays to look into it. Barclays chatbots cannot help at all - they are just pretend people who trot out the website responses. I'll probably just put up with deleting them when they arrive; I wasted most of this morning trying to make contact. Thanks for all your suggestions.

Probly says Blocks Senders or if not you can set up a auto redirection to a special BARCLAYS folder what you never need look at

I'm a Barclays customer, so I've just taken a look at the full headers for genuine emails sent from Barclays. They all show 'assure1.barclays.co.uk' as the sending server, with an IP address of 176.74.179.99

Examine the full headers for one of the emails you've been receiving to see if that's what you also see. (To view the full headers you might need to click on a little 'information' button or just look for something like 'view extended header'). If you see something similar, the emails are genuine; if you don't, they're fakes.
