Boaty doesn't seem to be about and Emmis hasn't yet pounced, so I'll get things moving.

Happy Good Friday to all - and think of all those folk in the Philippines who are nuts enough to have themselves crucified.

Looks like another sunny one to begin with, the birds a twittering, the camelia tree outside still showing colour and the wisteria on its way. In fact the gardens were open yesterday and I guess they had close to 100 folk in, a lot of children as well but then there was an Easter egg hunt put on.......no issues here with overcrowding, alcohol and bad behaviour.....

Sister's at some point today - they foraged a small bucket of mussels yesterday for me, along with one for them, over in St.Just-in-Roseland on the other side of the River Fal estuary and they are sitting in the sea lapping up their slipway at the moment. I guess that's supper this evening sorted out.

Fine here - managed to dodge a bullet yesterday.....first of all my e-account was locked out, some attempted hack on Wednesday afternoon but I got notice that it was back on - secondly later that day just as I was about to go upstairs having mailed Minty and another friend, my pc screen went black - some issue with the power not getting through. Fortunately my pc guru was working. I left it with him fearing the worst.

Turned out that he removed the battery and the main boards and then reassembled them, the 'bias' whatever that is, realigned and, 'hey presto', power restored - lighter to the tune of a fiver and, more importantly, I had the laptop back before this long weekend.

Things much better here and sleeping decently at the moment - a cumulative build up on the body so the doc has had me on a course of something that has knocked me out - now for use sporadically if and when needed.

Gather so, Boaty.....hope that they are on top of it now for you and I guess it means more back and forth to Gloucester or can they nail you in Cheltenham?
Good morning all!
The dawn chorus is in full swing right now, and it was very vocal last dusk too.
Be kind and caring.
Morning Chip
That all sounds good DT.
We had a day of clear blue skies and lots of sunshine yesterday. Very different today, uniform grey again.
Morning chip.
whereas we had a whole day of cloud. still doesn't stop one from going out, will see later what it does, if it rains i think will stay put.
Equidistant DT. I'd like to have it done at The Vale, a state of the art hospital five minutes away!
what have you got to have done Boaty....

Morning Chip - we have the duck sex/cuckolding season starting here....there were two drakes and a duck outside my kitchen window having a go at it last night when I was making supper.
i usually hear the foxes and the birdies early hours of the morning, the foxes calls are very loud, i was told they are looking for a mate if they bark loudly. the birdies are delightful
Did one of them end up as supper DT?
morning all xx
