I Really Don't Get It
Whats all the shouting about and the uncontrollable excitement, England have taken 55 years to win a football match against a German side, is that really that great? I don't think so. Plus what do we actually get from this? within a couple of weeks after its all done and dusted, it will be forgotten. The players involved will just be showered with even more of a gross weekly/ monthly wage along with their manager. So what will you get from it, if anything.

We've gotta take our excitement where we can, and it's been a great distraction. I don't even like football that much usually, but still watched it and even let out an audible "whoop" when Kane scored.
It’s 55 years to beat Germany in the knockout stage of a major tournament
I’m not actually sure how many times that would be?
1970 WC; 1972 EC; 1996 EC; 2006 WC
There was a win at the 2000 EC (group stage).
There have been several other wins.
It is the first time England have ever won a knockout tie in 90 mins in the European championship, the only previous win being in penalties against Spain before they became good in 1996.
That’s possibly more of a “thing”

Not that I'm that interested, but you know what I think is wrong with most England teams that we've had. We tend to have just one so called star, at the most two, who they totally rely on to put the ball in the net, if the one or two stars have off days, and that's been most of the time( even with all the money they get) we are sunk. You here the panels verdict during the game and after, saying something like unless they feed Harry the ball, he's not going to score, ie he needs it put on his head or foot 2 yards in front of the goal. The panel always seem to know what they are doing wrong, and what they should do to win, don't Southgate know?
TC: "England have taken 55 years to win a football match against a German side," - once again breath taking ignorance, we last beat Germany in 2016. This is a win in a knock out stage of a tournament and those are rare occasions the last chance to do that was in 1990, so please try and not demonstrate your total lack of understanding so publicly, it makes you look very silly.
