Self Assessment Tax Return
4 Answers
Having filled the form and submitted it in May I have not heard a word as to whether it is there or not. Have sent a further 2 letters and nothing--no reply.
I am sending to their address BX9 1AS
What is my best method of getting anywhere with this. Telephoning is not an option as I do not think anyone answers it.
Any info appreciated

Blimey well done - sending it in
I conclude that you did a paper return
what to do? - get real baby and do an internet return ( next year)
If you are doing one for yourself and your leddy wife
YOUR one will take absolute bliddy hours - and then your wifes will be straightforward - literally 5 or 10 min
You need..... you need to get on a govt portal and "set up an account" THEN you need to get into the subsection the tax portal and er - set up an account ( sort of "sub-")
and then you can do quite a lot - fill out, send in, email, pay, keep up with tax demands, see what you have paid in the past forever....
I did this after I was assessed for £32 000 - no not 12k, 32k
His finger slipped apparently
My electronic return for y e 6 April 2021 has NOT been submitted but I am in a position to pay any tax outstanding as late as 30 Jan 2022
