...a win for Germany in tonight's match against Scotland.

Leaving aside his probable bias towards the home team, would it be worth following his prediction and have a small bet on Germany?

Germany are 1/4 to win in 90 mins so I guess pongo pygmaeus is on the money 😁

Four to one on is hardly worth the trouble of getting to the bookies.

Though if he's proved right I'll look out for any other predictions.

They had a predictive Octopus one year, didn't they?

Maybe they're checking with all animals whose name begins with 'O'.

If you want to win bigger money, bet on the Scots to win. The Germans often stutter at the start.

Leaving aside his probable bias towards the home team, ??

I would have thought that he supported Holland. 🍊🍊🥕🥕

There are bets available other than a simple 'win' bet, Sandy.

For instance, you could possibly double your 'small stake' amount by taking Skybet's EVENS that Jamal Musiala has at least one shot on target. Proper price ought to be 1/2.

I've already had my tenner's worth and, if for some reason, he doesn't line up, your stake is refunded.

Or you could have a small stakes 'build-a-bet'; predict upwards of 2 things which you think will occur in the match - such as how many yellow cards will be shown, how many goals will be scored, how many corners will be taken, etc, etc, etc. Obvs the more selections you make, the higher the price rises. Bear in mind of course that ALL your predictions must come true for the bet to bear fruit.

And, just to cover myself should you turn into a gambling addict, i am in no way encouraging you to have a bet. Never bet what you cannot easily afford to lose and, when the fun stops - stop. Can't think of anything else the 'firms' say to dissuade you.

Oh, and drink responsibly while waiting for the results.

Orangutans are ginger so he may have some Irish or Scottish blood. He might be picking Germany to win whilst sticking his pocket money on the Scots.

Yes, Paul ...

Why would an orang utan make a better prediction than a proper pundit like say Gary Lineker or Alan Shearer. Sorry bad example.

why not ask that er MP ?

I'd be more impressed if it had predicted the correct score and goal scorers, instead of the 50-50 option it was faced with.

they asked Ludwig the Psychic Sausage Dog. Apparently he didn't rate Scotland's chances either.

What would someone need to have said to get their post deleted from this innocent thread?

Just thought i'd return to the thread to let you know; Musiala scores in the 19th minute.

Only doubled my tenner, but Euro 24 is off to a flyer for me. Now i need Gundogan and McTominey both to have at least a shot on target to receive £32.50 for a free £5 bet.

Did Scotland manage a shot (on or off target)?

I see Germany scored six times

"Maybe they're checking with all animals whose name begins with 'O'."

Mystic Meg went with O.J. Simpson

In answer to Dr Morgan's question @ 22;53, no Scotland did not have a signle goal attempt throughout the entire match. Even the own goal they got was heading across the area and not toward the goal.

Needless to say, McTominay let my 'build-a-bet' down.
