Is there no phone number on the back of the card? There is on all mine.

ok..i`ll try that...cheers....
i shoudn't think you will recieve any sort of reward for handing it back - the card will be cancelled so more or less useless, by handing it back you are doing a good deed as it will help put the persons mind at ease but i wouldn't expect anymore than i thank you for doing it... hand it in at any branch of the bank or call the lost or found number of the back.

c

are you serious?

why would anyone give you a reward? whoever told you that you would get a reward?

the card will have been cancelled and therefore useless

because in previous jobs if you find a card, you fill in a form and after 1-3 months they send you 50 ..but not many people know about this and normally the store gets the cash..so i was wandering if the `public`can do a similar thing and claim some sort of reward....tarrr
if they gave people who returned bank cards 50 as a reward for there return people would simply steal cards to return them for the reward - sounds much easier than all that messy credit card fraud business.

When I worked in a high street bank, we would give 50 reward to someone who prevented a fraud and retained a stolen card but not to someone just for handing in a lost card.
damn undercovers!
you have blown the cover on me and my friends new money making scheme! ;o)
sorry joko - i just don't know when to shut up do i!
