we need a bank account to have our wages paid into we are declared bankcrupt only till october we just want a basic account nothing fancy with cheque books or cards just a pass book or hole in the wall card thanx

a key account at the royal bank of scotland is ok for the basics. I had one after my hubby left and they can be upgraded as your circumsances change.

step a/c at Natwest is good too you can apply online. You get a solo card and can use online banking.

hiya, i just went bust. nat west do an account called a step account. basic account with solo debit card. really good. when you apply, they will give it to you, just be honest about your situation from the start. hope this helps, ron
