i am always in my authorised overdraft and regularly go over it into an unauthorised overdraft. I am trying to reclaim my bank charges, will this prejuidice my claim for a refund?

Go for it! You've probably paid a lot of charges over the years.

But open another current account first - with overdraft as you need it.

I have no doubt that if you pursue the claim the bank will close your account.
