Dear Sir, I am a producer of South African gluten free, cured meats (Biltong) Sausages (boerewors) and pure beef burgers, initally from Rhodesia and then South Africa. I built my business in the UK from a zero customer base 4 years ago and now courier all over the UK and to parts of the EU, we also have an outside catering unit which has proved very popular at various events and host local Africa Nights at pub's etc. We intend expanding our business into Spain very soon as there is a large African ex pat community there. Question: could I franchise my business here in the UK and if so how would I go about doing this and setting a price. I dont want to sever my business ties with the UK and would like to keep an iron in the fire here. Please advise. [edit by ABED]

Speak to your local business manager at your bank - or if your bank is large enough, speak to your overseas investment specialist. On the other hand if your company is large enough and has its own team - ask your research team to gather this info for you!!

Thank you.
We are still a small business, so I thing the business amager at our bank will have to be the first port of call.
Cheers
to be honest i think market research is essential for this plan, there is no point investing into a market that does not have demand for your product, in addition i agree with the first post just sponge as much information as possible
