Hi, hoping that this is the correct category....

I received some post from America yesterday, or rather I received the cardboard sleeve that once contained my post! Its been ripped open right across the middle on the back, which looks very suspect. I've called my post office and they don't know what happened to it, but it was like that when they got it. The bloke who sent it in America is refusing to chase it up because it wasn't insured. Is there anything more I can do, either here or in America?
