I have recently found a pile of old bank notes from various countries. I came accross 2 interesting ones though. One is what I believe to be a world war one issue german 20 reichsmark banknote, with the nazi symbol on it and another is a central bank of iraq, large 250 Dinar note featuring Saddam Hussein on it. Does anyone know if these are worth anything?

The Nazi symbol (you mean the swastika?) wasn't in use till well after the war, so it's probably from the 1930s.
The Iraq note is worth 2.50 if its the same as this guy is selling: http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~wwcoins/bank notesiii.htm (scroll down for Iraq notes)

and the Reichsmark 30 on this site: http://www.banknotes4u.co.uk/germany.htm

You will probably have a local note collecting club near you and they can give a better value if you are going to sell them.

List of links here as well to keep you in tonight: http://google.fr/alpha/Top/Recreation/Collecti ng/Paper_Money/
