Feeding Rabbits
4 Answers
I have two beautiful pet rabbits. My daughter bought Kellogs Fruit n Fibre cereal but has now decided she doesn't like it - would it be ok to mix some in with my rabbits food - they usually have Wagg Optimum and plenty of fruit and veg and I just wondered if they would be able to eat this cereal too.

Most cereals are ok, but you must not feed rabbits dried fruit.
Rabbits are easily kept in good health with veges and grasses. You don't need those fancy and expensive foods. It is beneficial to give your bunnies freshly collected grass at least once per week. As with most 'herbivores', an certain amount of animal protien is ingested from the herbage they eat. They will survive without it, but if stessed through sickness a previously healthy bunny has more chance.
