i have just calculated what my bank chages come to ,someone told me i should add intrest is tha true and if so how much?

You can add interest if you like.

See here and scroll down a bit, there is a section on adding insterest and a calculator thing for working it out.

It is really up to you whether you add interest or not, we didn't and got everything resolved within days of posting the original letter

My son was claiming �2500 which the bank declined to settle. He is now going to court and added interest works out at over a grand! Since they had the use of the money they may wish they had settled the orginal figure
