Licit legal bank charges

Licit legal are trying to take a payment off me from a par t payment i got off my bank, for past bank charges.My bank even phoned them to tell them they had paid me a part payment and the amount, i thought bank accounts were supposed to be private i only got a part payment after writing to the bank myself and pleading povety. i hadnt heard from licit legal from over a year although i sighned with lic leg to start with.I want to know if i have to pay them by law or are they just a cow boy outfit

They are a cowboy outfit but unfortunately as you obviously used them to start the claim, you will probably find that you are still under contract with them and therefore liable to pay them.

Your Bank didn't know that you had decided not to use Licit Legal anymore.

Your bank could give these details to the company because you signed authorisation allowing them to. Without it, Licit Legal could not have acted on your behalf.

Sadly they are a cowboy company, but they are not 'illegal' and the contract stands until you go through the proper channels to cancel it. They will probably charge you to cancel it, for work done already

It's all about having a recognisable brand, CC.
When you go to the shop for a can of Cola, do you automatically reach for a Coke, or do you peruse the lesser brands before selection?
