What is the botom line with paying tax if you fo a few deals on eBay.

I have always done a few deals a month that amount to nothing more than a few quid, but if i were to sell some stuff which a) got few hundred, and did this quite often does it costitute an income?

Finally if its my own stuff that i've had for years and it's not my main busines, will i still be liable for any sort of taxation, etc?

I think the rule is that if you buy something with the intention of selling it on at a profit, then you are liable to pay tax on that profit.

If you are just selling some stuff that you've had for years and don't want any more then you're not.
