CCj's
1 Answers
I have no idea about this kind of thing but wondered if anybody could shed some light. My friends husband has just received a phone call saying he was due in court this week over a non-paid water bill. All correspondence regarding this was sent to his old address, no phone calls made etc, all done by mail which the people who now are there didnt forward on. He updated his new address with them which they have stated today they have on file. However, as he did not appear in court he has incurred a CCJ against his name. If he can prove they made the mistake, can the CCJ be cancelled or will it remain regardless?
