wife works 26hrs a week ,am i entitled to any benefits?

when one persons wife works contracted 26 hrs a week ,husband is on incapacity benefit but has been told he is now fit to look for work ,will he be able to still claim benefits if his wife is bringing in a wage ?? he isnt sure what they are putting him on

He can also appeal against the decision and if he wins his Inacapacity Benefit will be reinstated and any Job Seekers Allowance he has received will be taken from any back payment of IB. While his appeal is in he could apply for reduced rate Income Support ( 20% reduction) but as this is means tested his wifes earnings would have to be taken into account of course.
Ethel state benefits can be involved at the best of times and while it is okay to post general advice, to post completely incorrect advice is not. I doubt most folk are aware of JSA(CB) and JSA(IB) so how can you say you meant one and not the other?
No doubt some folk on here take what you say as gospel and don't bother to check its accuracy but to do so could be a costly mistake.
