i have some money tied up in various OEICs and ISAS with scottish widows, and these relatively are low risk, but are linked to the stock market. Given the current financial crisis, my husband thinks i should cash them all in and find a bank with a high interest account, because a bank is less likely to go bankrupt than Scottish Widows. Is he right? I have a meeting with my financial advisor on Friday to discuss my investments, but he works on commision and will obviously tell me to stay with scottish widows whether it's actually the best thing or not.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
