Keep an eye on your bank account.....if you have millions s....move it out of current account into an investment.
in my experience, very
I wouldn't worry; there are identity thieves out there but not as many thousands of them as the banks would like you to think. But as terambulan says, keep an eye on your bills, just in case.
i was gonna say you should warn your bank, but i dont know if you might invalidate your insurance if you admit you put your statements in the bin..... a bit like leaving your door unlocked and then being burgled.... hmmmm?
Just out of interest......why do you have identity theft insurance? If its for financial reasons then you are already covered by the Banks own Banking Code.
You would be extraordinarly unlucky for anything to happen. Whilst there is obviously a rise in this sort of crime, and there are many victims, statistically, the chances of it happeneing to you for this one ommision, and probably no greater than expecting to be mugged when you walk out of your front door today. It was difficult to find statistics to back this up.

I agree, keep an eye on your accounts and report anything suspicious, but your statements are probably being eaten by seagulls and worms at this moment rather than being pored over by an identity thief.
