I'm use to deal with Business Transfer Agents from time to time. Most willing send you details about business freely when you register with them.

But recently I came across a Business Transfer Agent which charges you �15 for registration fee and charges the buyer and seller 5% each of the price of the business. With most Agents they only charge the seller about 5% one way.

Now is that an unusual practice for this Agent or could any Agent do what they like?

Is this particular Agent raking every penny from potential buyers and sellers?
