drs, poss malpractice? or a simple complaint - help needed
hi
i have been sent to a physiotherapist by my dr as i have had an issue with my back.
not only has the woman clearly at no point read my history as she kept asking when was my car accident and what is the problem she has not treated me.
she has slightly rocked me whilst laying on the bed which usually precedes the manipulation but she hasnt performed any at any point.
she has told me to put heat on my back and lay on my tummy or stand to eat and at no point to sit.
having gone to seek a 2nd opinion and a 3rd opinion i have been informed that i should undr no circumstances be laying on my stomach but back or side only and walking is ok too in short doses, i can also sit to eat and drink.
at no point to put heat on the back only oce due to heat making blood cells swell and causing more problems and pain.
i have also had manipulation on the area in question.
do i have a legal case? especially as i have asked to be transfered to another physio as the original was awful. i ended up having to go private as apparently this was not possible. despite the other physio based at the surgery knowing my full back ground and being able to treat this reoccuring problem every other time this has happened.
also how do i go about complaining about this to the surgery?
many thanks x
