Requesting P45

I walked out on a previous job, due to a disagreement with my employer. Since then they have sold the business and moved away. I no longer have contact details for them and need to obtain my P45 so that I can submit a claim for tax back for this tax year before I go back home to Australia. Can I claim back my P45 another way or is there another form I could fill in?

Go and talk to the Inland Revenue.  It doesn't sound like you've got much chance of getting hold of a P45, but your previous employer should have informed IR of your pay & tax details when you left them.  If you've kept your payslips, they could also be useful.
