Renting flat

I gonna rent flat in another borough. I was asking for guarantor. Can I apply for housing benefit in the new place (I was eligible and getting now) if i have guarantor? Will the information about guarantor written in my Tenancy agreement? Please, help.

the 2 things are not connected. The Guarantor is just to cover the landlord if you welsh on the rent. The housing benefit is a decision for the local authority. The Guarantor will have to sign the tenancy agreement but it will not be relevant as far as the housing benefit application is concerned.
