right ive got loads to sell so thought id put it all on ebay to make some cash quickly as im going away soon. The things is ive been told that you dont actually get the money you earn put into your bank account but into a paypal account and that it just works as credit to buy other stuff from the site, is this true? thanks

The paypal account is an intermediate location for your money. It can stay there and you can buy things with it online, or you can transfer it to another account. I also sell through Amazon, which pays directly into the account you nominate.

You can transfer the money from PayPal to your bank account easily, without problem.
