Amazon Credit Card Declined
2 Answers
Hi
I'm totally baffled so if anyone could help me out that would be great.
I applied for an amazon credit card and have had a letter from bank of america saying it was declined. I don't understand how as my boyfriend is on a very good wage, i have my own business, we have no credit cards, catalogues, debt, late payments etc.
The only thing we have is finance for our car which has a year left to pay so i don't know why we've been declined.
I called the bank of america helpline and they have told me to register with experian to find out why as they wouldn't tell me.
I'd just registered with experian last month out of curiosity to find out my credit rating and there was nothing bad in it. Only the car which i new about. I then cancelled my membership as i didn't want to have to pay the £6.99 or whatever it was per month to keep using it.
If i register again i'd now have to pay the monthly charge. I said to the man that i don't understand why i'll now need to sign up to experian for a year to find out why they have declined me and said i thought they must have a deal with them!!! we were both laughing but he said thats what i would need to do.
has anyone had the same experience?
