Does anyone know of an alternative to PayPal. PayPal .uk was absolutely brilliant, but now I have moved to Spain using PayPal.es is a nightmare, they are tecnologically (?) still in the dark ages !!!!

I have no intension of taking out a Spanish card just to suit them. They are difficult to contact and very staid in replies when you do, Pity they are no where near as efficient as the UK lot. They don't seem to want to set up a direct debit with my Spanish bank,( they say it is to complicated) Main use ebay buying.
Sqad, I only need my Spanish banks debit card, I only use a credit card on-line as an extra layer of protection until goods arrive then pay off the balance. Paypal wanted a copy of my last paper c.card statement which was not possible as I'm 'paperless'. They finally requested a 'screen-shot' which I have never done before but have now mastered. If all else fails at least I have learnt a new procedure. I still would like to know if there is a viable, acceptable worldwide alternative.Don't know why they don't like UK credit cards , after all I've bought items in euros on uk card and they just convert to GBP, funny old world
Hopkirk, nice thought ,but the only relatives in UK already have accounts at their own address.
allgram, I only changed over because I received an email from PayPal uk stating that I had to change when I registered my change of address with them, never mind I suppose it'll sort itself out in the end, Thanks all for replies which are most appreciated.
