Advice please... to prevent breaking her heart more
6 Answers
My brother is going through a separation and living away from his wife, its her 40th birthday tomorrow and he does'nt know if he should send her flowers or give her a present in case it sends the wrong message (she does'nt want the marriage to end). He does not want to hurt her any more than she is feeling at the moment, any ideas please? many thanks

I'd be too scared the other person would get the wrong message or start looking for things that aren't there and I'd end up hurting them even more. If he wants a reconciliation though then maybe it's a good start.
Otherwise, heartless and spineless as it sounds, I'd probably just send a text later in the day saying 'hope you enjoy your day' with no kisses or anything.

me and my husband are seperated and it was his birthday couple of weeks ago and really wanted to get him a card and post it but i was afraid his family would get it before him and they'd rip it up and throw it away so i thought of texting him . i was going to txt 'happy birthday' but i thought that would be a taunt as our situation is not happy at all and he hasnt seen his baby for nearly 4 months so i just sent him a picture of baby..
