My son is 18 months old and refuses to eat lumpy savioury food.  he will eat toast, rusks, pieces of fruit but thats all.  I am still having to mush everything down to ensure he is getting enough food.  I spoke to a health visitor how says to offer it to him.  If he refuses eat chew, take it away.  But it is hard to walk away when you want them to eat nourishment.  Has anyone else 'walked away' and how long did it go on until he/she ate.
