What a nice question ALLO.

We don't know what we'd do without our 'wonderful' daughters & extended family.

We love them all soo much! -xxxx-

andy, i didn't even notice! i read it as jacob anyway!

that's a cool thing to raise someone else's kids! you must really love your wife. i know how hard times must have got. when i would fight with my step-dad i would say to him "your not my father, you can't tell me what to do!" what a horrible thing to say! so with being a parent i'll give you three stars!*** good man!!!!!!!!!

It's the best thing EVER. All of life's other experiences pale into insignificance compared to the joy of parenthood.

Yes, I have two great grown up sons!  I have to warn you though ALLO that you may have days when your little ones become monstrous teenagers when you wish you were anything but a parent!!!

When I see how amazing my oldest son is with his own daughter & step-daughter I hope it's because I got some things right & not because I did it all wrong!!

Best job in the whole world.
The days on which my children were born were the happiest days of my life, I have never felt so lucky and proud. I couldn't bear the thought of life without them, they are my life.
Ditto the above by pjm007.
Yes I adore being a mum - but tell me - do we ever stop worrying???

netibiza - even though our daughters are 'grown up' with children of their own , we never stop worrying about them - never!

Awww ALLO, I just love everything about them.  My son has just gone off for 2 nights in a caravan with his mate and family.....first time away; he's only 6.  There's nothing better in life than raising kids.
I had my little boy 17 months ago and I still can't believe how much I love being a Mum. I was planning on going back to work full time, but I've taken a career break instead! As for stepchildren, my Grandad married my Gran when she had a child by another man. We only found out around the time he died because he didn't want her to be treated any differently. This made me feel even more proud of him.
I gave birth to my son 9 months ago after 4 years of fertility treatment and IVF attempts. He has made our lives complete and I go to pieces when he looks up at me with his big baby blues and smiles!! It is the best feeling in the world!
I think its absolutely the most best thing in the world. I'd never be without my little girl. She is fabulous. If I had the time, money and space I'd repopulate the whole of my county! :-)
After getting divorced and having a mad couple of years not knowing where i was going or what i wanted out of life, i fell pregnant unplanned. I can honestly say it is the best thing that has ever happened to me, i love every second with my daughter and although its hard work i am happy to be a single mum.
yes

Absobluminlutely - We have 3 boys (5, 3 & 6mths) and there is nothing that compares to getting all animated reading a story to your children and watching their faces, or pretending that I can't remember how to get to nursery or school and they have to shout directions from the back. Walking through the door at the end of the day and having them grab each leg as if they haven't seen you for days!! letting them help make meals and getting dirty in the forest or soaking wet on the beach! Their enjoyment of life is in our hands and these memories will stay with them forever. Kids (especially boys) are 'wild at heart' - let them be. Having them changes your view on what is important in life completely. Moulding their life through experiences is a challenge like no other - and such a laff!!

I adore being a momma and feel that it is not only a gift from God, but also a huge blessing! I have a 19 year old daughter and also a 2 year old daughter (I know big age gap!) My eldest daughter and I are like sisters we pretty much share everything in life and I am sooo proud of her! My little one is gorgious and every day is a blessing. Unfortunately my father died on the same night I went into hospital to give birth to my youngest daughter, and I don't know how I would have got through it without her, she really kept me going and made me smile when I didn't feel like smiling. I wish that my parents could have met her, as they would have adored her, and its a shame that she will never know them or have any grandparents. But I know through experiance that the years fly by so fast, so I treasure every moment of every day. I think I'm a better momma this time around because I am older and my pace of life is much more laid back than it was 1st time around. Things that used to worry me don't anymore, so I'm calmer and more together... I wish I could have another one!!
