Dummy no dummy = no affect on child

Cot to bed = no affect on child

I'am very concerned that he doesn't take any notice of changes around him.
He goes to bed, doesn't even attempt too get out of bed on his own.

Just be grateful!

Loads of children have trouble adjusting to these changes, and there are tears and kerfuffles for nights on end.

If you are blessed with a child who takes these things in his stride, count your blessings, and don't brag to other mums at nursery!!!
I would be worried if he doesn't seem to be interested in things around him. Perhaps stimulate him more.
is he happy and alert during the day?
Check with your Health Visitor.
They will know if your child is hitting appropriate milestones or not.
How old is this ..."child?"

The child is 2. Seems ok during the day doesn't seem to talk much. But very independent. But doesn't like to be feed.
Does 'the child' have a name - you seem very detached if the child in question is yours.
O.K I presume that he is starting to talk..mama, dada etc and responds to loud noises etc, growing normally, I shouldn't worry too much.

Hes a brilliant example to children. My Polly makes life difficult for me, she is a diva and hates change, but my eldest was a gem and never reacted to change at all. If only all children were like you little one. Enjoy it!
The points about the night time are, on their own, nothing I'd worry about- in facr many parents would eant the same for their children at bedtime.

Just to let people know the child is not mine, but just concerned about the welfare of the child.
can you discuss your concerns with the child's parents?

If not and if your concerns are bothering you, you could give the health visitor a call and tell them what is worrying you. They will not be able to discuss the child with you but will have your information.
When I saw the title and first line of this post I thought you'd be complaining that the child doesn't sleep, and I was going to reassure you that it will come to an end; he/she will sleep through the night eventually and all will be fine.
Please be grateful that that isn't a problem.
If there are other signs that he/she (we still don't know its gender, even) is not engaging with the world there might cause for worry, but from what you say there doesn't seem to be.
Oops sorry, you did say "he".
