1. I had a great night out with friends from work last night. Lovely Italian restaurant. Lots of laughs. Just what I needed.
2. OH is taking me out for the day. We're thinking somewhere in Warwickshire.
3. My cousin-in-law is picking me up next Thursday so we can sit in her lovely back garden and drink wine, whilst putting the world to rights. I did the same for her Thursday just gone, so she's returning the favour.
4. Everyday we are getting closer to moving to our new home. I can't wait to get in and start transforming the place.
5. In 4 weeks' time we will be heading to St Ives. We've booked a couple of very nice restaurants, one of which is where we ate the evening we got married.
6. My lovely husband has treated me to some nice clothes and accessories to go back to work in September. He can be thoughtful when he tries ;-)
7. It's lovely to be part of a community like AB, even if you don't necessarily get on with all the members at times.
8. The sun is shining and we'll shortly be having a spot of breakfast out in the garden.
9. I'm fit and well, and so are those I love.
10. Last but not least, I have a lovely little family and wouldn't be without them for the world.
Rocky, that IS a reason to be cheerful. I hope you have a lovely time. What's your sort of cocktail? Mine would be gin, prosecco and elderflower based.
Very simple ones mine. Just had a walk and Zac was very lively which is nice at his age. Bumped into lots of people I know and had brief chats. Just been chatting to our window cleaner (who’s also a mate and I owe an awful lot of thanks to). Going out later with an old College buddy for drinks, in Leeds.
Oh, and the sun’s just come out.
I used to have B/Collie, wonderful dogs if you train them right, we used to travel the Country at the weekends taking part in agility trials, still got all her rosettes, miss her so much. (Sorry to butt in LadyC)
Border collies are lovely dogs. I still miss my Alfie. I was looking in my jewellery box last night for some earrings and I came across a little heart-shaped trinket box that I keep a lock of his hair in. It's lost its smell completely now.
Zac walks without a lead (unless he’s near livestock of course) and responds to about 25 or so commands / words which is nowhere near what they can achieve. he’s almost stone deaf now, but I find he responds to the gestures which accompany said commands / words just the same, so body language must be very important in training dogs in general.
1. Very in love with my partner.
2. Now have a base in the US.
3. Losing weight towards my goal weight for my medical in September.
4.Work is going well, green card on it's way.
5. My dogs love me.
6. My cats don't but they're cats so i'm not taking it personally.
7. My strawberries are amazing!
8. About to have a massive chuck out of junk.
9. Bought lots of new clothes
10. Got a new Camera.
Yeah they're great, nice thing is I can use my Canon fit lenses with it from my stills camera plus I've got adaptors for some really nice old Zeiss glass. Very happy at the moment with it. x
