Recently my friend found out his ex girlfriend is pregnant with his baby. He has since met someone else and is happy in a new relationship. His exgirlfriend has told him as long as he is seeing someone else, he can't attend the 3 months scan or having anything to do with the baby. She says his name won't go on the birth certificate. This APPARENTLY means he isn't entitled to a paternity test without her permission.

She claims to not want his money, that her and the baby will be fine without him. But he wants to be a part of his childs life and continue with his new relationship.

Does anyone know anything about this subject or any useful websites with helpful information on his rights and what he can do to start standing up for himself?

Thanks.
