my 8 month old son have cut 2 teeth 3 weeks ago .and he have yellow ish patches on both of them . i have never seen this before have you??????

have you/he begun to brush his teeth? If not, do so. My son would never brush his teeth he would just eat the toothpaste. If you run into the same problem- take a wash cloth and put toothpaste on it and rub his teeth. I never encountered the yellow spots- but seems to me he has some type of build up on the teeth?????

I may be way off the mark. I have a 'condition' caused by too much fluoride or something. This causes my teeth to be patchy like that. They have been like that since I was a child. It is called fluorisis. But the stuff I've read online says that the patches are white rather than yellow.

Will ask my boyf as he is a 'former' dentist!!

thank you for your answer .the patches are a sort of creamy colour as they are growing you can see them better as his teeth are so white . he is taking a visit to the dentist to day as they want to have a look . many thanks..
