Rather than seeing that you have 3 stone to lose, aim to lose 1-2lbs per week. Don't give yourself a hard time if you don't lose any one week- in my experience, this is always hormonal, and if you ignore the blip you will usually lose twice as much the next week.
Regarding the clothes, don't spend much money. You can buy cheap stuff on ebay in the meantime. But save your money for buying lush things when you have reached your target weight.
Well done for the weight loss. It can't have been easy and losing a stone is quite an achievement. I was also going to suggest a trawl round your local charity shops as sometimes you can be really lucky and you're right, it seems silly to spend a lot of money on clothes which will only remain in your wardrobe temorarily.
Some dry cleaners offer an alteration service if you're not able to alter your clothes yourself but this service is not necessarily cheap.
Otherwise Primark and the George range at Asda produce some fashionable and inexpensive ranges and when the weather gets warmer, sometimes Car Boot sales offer some interesting finds.. Keep up the good work!
Congratulations on getting this far.
You should be very proud of yourself!!!
I am pregnant habe put on a stone so far and don't feel like wasting money on buying new clothes, either.
So recently I went through about a hundred charity shops (at least that was what it felt like after a week) and spent about 30 pounds on 7kg of clothing (I know because I sent it by mail).
I thought that was a pretty good deal.
