happy mothers day to mums everywhere, i got 2 pairs of ear rings and a dvd of joseph and the amazing techniocolor dream coat starring donny osmond. what did all you mums get?

I got a beautiful hand made card and a BIG easter egg!!!! I am promised a series of Footballers Wives on DVD later on this month!!!

I got a teddy bear with "Happy Mothers Day" T-Shirt on,some bunches of daffodils and help around the house,bless'em(even hubby managed to wash up)!!!!

bright lime green slippers 4 sizes to big for me ..lol
2 boxes of choccies, bottle of vodka nd a take out chinese meal.

I got a 'World's Best Mummy' mug!

I got a lovely bunch of flowers and a big box of belgian chocs :)

Mrs OBonio got a lovely Mummy's Day card and a bunch of white roses from Little OBonio. Her first one!

We invited our mums round for Sunday roast so wasn't an entirely relaxing day! My mum got the best of David Essex CD, and Mum-in-Law got best of Johnny Mathis (I'm glad I didn't have to go and buy them!!).

A good day, but next year definitely giving Mrs OBonio a break!

HI MRS obonia, why do people say we mums have strange taste? thers me mad on cliff and your mum with johnny mathis and yer mum in law with david essex,( ouch), cant decide who's the worst lol

I had a very large boquet from one daughter. It was lovely, and from my eldest I had a lovely vase and a box of chocs. Also two very nice cards.

I got a lovely card with a drawing of me inside the new Harry Potter dvd cos can't stop watching it and a teddy all great. Still had to make tea though oh well we can't get everything can we.

my girls nursery got all the kids to make up a little box for their mums - my 2 gave me theres on friday cause they couldn't wait. This is what it had in it :-
-a piece of cotton wool to give you a soft landing when you fall
-a candle to light your darkest days
-a marble in case you lose yours
-a smily sticker for when you need to see a friendly face
-a paper clip to help you hold it all together
It was called a happiness box and the above was written on a little label.Brought a smile to my face and a lump to my throat!

yinyang - what brilliant idea.

I'm going to write that down for our Granddaughter's school & maybe they'll do that for next year. They're always open to ideas from parents & grandparents.

Thank you yinyang, I did enjoy it. I've already phoned my daughter, who has written it down to put in her daughter's school bag for the morning.

For got to mention - our eldest daughter bought me some beautiful flowers & one of my favourite TV series called 'Roots' on DVD - which I can't wait to watch! Our youngest daughter bought me a delish box of Fudge (which she helped me demolish) & a beautiful outdoor Terracotta plant pot, filled with mixed plants, from Wyvale garden centre. I can't wait to get out into the garden now to re-arrange everything - energy & weather permitting!
