Itchy legs

Lately whenever I get out the shower my legs are unbelievably itchy. I've tried everything - shaving them, not shaving them, putting cream on straight after I get out, 5 mins after, before I even get in, exfoliating them, using different shower gels, no shower gel, different towels...nothing works. How can i stop this or is there an anti-itch cream or something i can put all over my legs??? Its not eczema or spotty or red or anything just really itchy!

i suffer with this too. mine only itch from the knee down.
like you i have tried everything.
i read somewhere that you shouldn't scratch them, just gently massage them - didn't help much.
the only thing i've found that helps a little is placing a cold flannel on the itchy area - does help but is not exactly practical - when having visitors for example.

so sorry GlitteryPink i haven't got a magic answer.

looks like we'll have to suffer together!!
I get lots of insect bites this time of year, and use Eurax lotion (you can get it in Boots) to stop them itching - it starts working almost immediately and the effects last for hours.
water is too hot !
Crete, I think you could be right!!
