Stepdad no more

My eldest two kids haven't seen their birth father for 13 years due to his mental health problems. He isnsee them as an official court order.

But I met a man who I married a couple of years after their dad was off the scene. We then had another little boy but my new husband took on the other two as every bit their father. They always called him dad and there was no problem.

Then six months ago we ended our relationship and he now ONLY sees his real son and refuses to see the other two. I am heartbroken and so are they. They are now in their teens but genuinely look upon him still as their dad.
It seems such a cruel thing to do. I thought I knew him so well, but he can just up and abandon two kids that he treated as his own for ten years.
