Have you used them , did they help or hinder ??

Well did you know that one particular parenting book author, only wants you to comment on her book if you like her methods ? If like alot of people her book is not for you and you dare to mention that fact on a 'Parenting' website, she will more than likely instruct lawyers to try and shut the site down.

For more on this see http://www.mumsnet.com/lw/state.html

OMG thats ridiculous. Word of mouth helps when it comes to selling parenting books. With that kind of action where will mums get to hear about how good or bad it may be.

I must also add that Mumsnet isn't the only site that has been banned from mentioning her or her methods. Several other parenting sites are stopping discussions on her for fear of the same treatment.

I can post a link to a petition for freedom of speech on the internet if anyone is interested ?
Well she's c**p anyway.Lol
Seriously though what a weird, insecure peculiar woman. She obviously only writes books to gain the attention she no doubt missed a child.
Never heard of her but I'm sure my lawyers might be hearing from her soon...idiot.
I own 2 parenting books I have never read them but they are good for smacking the little brats round the head with. I was smacked and I have smacked and it didnt do me any harm.

Yours sincerely

The Tracey Hogg book 'Secrets of the baby Whisperer' has been an absolute godsend during our first 3 months of parenthood.
My hospital midwife advised against her book & methods.

The Baby Whisperer is top dog as far as I'm concerned.
Silly woman.
