birthday parties girl age 11

i am looking for ideas for my 11 year old birthday party ... any suggestions we have done the usual sleep over bowling disco / halloween party . does anyone have any fresh ideas ? for a november birthday party ....

One of my most memorable parties at exactly that age was a trip with friends to an indoor water park with shoots and jacussis and rapids, then a big tired meal in the diner on the same complex. Another good one was to an ice rink with friends - we went on the night they had the ice disco with music and lights on the ice.

Dunno where in the country you are but we did Alton Towers who do fireworks in November once and that went down really well.

my daughter is a very girly girl and i am hiring a limo (some do cater for kids i.e. fizzy drink and sweets in car) and taking her and some friends to have their nails done and then out 4 something to eat then back to our house to sleep.
or you could restrict the numbers and take 1 or 2 to a london show. (my daughter loved footloose)

a princess party - where the girls go out and get simple make overs and a few photos taken

how about 'make your own t-shirts' - that way they have something to take away too!

I don't know where you live but several beauty salons here do makeover parties. My daughter had a one for her 11th and the girls all loved it. They all had their hair put up make up done (nothing trashy) refreshments music and model type photos taken. They talked about it for ages after.

hi for my daughters 11th we hired the animal man for an hour, who brought everything from chinchillas, snakes,frogs etc for the kidz to hold, they loved it and a bit educational at the same time!!!
