baby movements

im nearly 21 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby and i havent really felt it move, i think i have a couple of times (not sure) i know the baby is ok cos i had my scan last week.
but just wondered if this is normal??

It's hard to tell at 1st, but it feels like 'flutterings' inside and can so easily be missed- especially if you're not concentrating. I really wouldn't worry too much, before you know it it will be kicking seven bells out of you!

By all means though mention this to your HV when you next pop in for a visit.
if it's your second baby you usually feel the movements earlier than with your first, especially since you know what it feels like. BUT, my mum had my wee brother just 17 months after me and he was the sleepiest, stillest baby EVER. They had to keep listening for his heart beat at all mums check ups cos she felt so very little movement she got worried - esp comapred to me, I was a real wriggler and kicker lol. On the plus side, my wee brother was a very calm, very chilled and very sleepy baby when he was born and for a good 6-8 months after...just as well as I was a tearaway toddler :o) So, you might just have quite a chilled wee bundle in there. It does happen. tc xx

thanks for that guys, this really does help me feel better.
was worried because i thought you was meant to feel it sooner being the second.
hope he is a chilled out little one, not like my first, she certainaly is'int!!!
