New baby worries.
On my second pregnancy (3 months in),had a dating scan last Friday, decided it was a good time to tell my ^yr old daughter that she would be having a new baby brother/sister.She was(as I predicted)'over the moon',and could'nt wait to tell everyone & ask lots of questions about the baby. The past few days she has still been very happy & excited,up until I dropped her off at school this morning, when she started crying & would'nt let me go,saying she missed me when she was at school. She is normally very confident at school & loves to go,I have never had any problems like this before.I re-assured her & her teacher took her in.It was very upsetting for me,as you can imagine & now I am worrying about her until she comes home.
Do you think this could be all linked to the new baby, any advice gratefully received,Bex

Maybe you should reassure her that you will still love her and be able to spend time with her, and make sure you involve her in the planning i.e buying clothes etc, so she feels part of it all. Good luck
my son was exactly the same when i was carrying my daughter. i made sure that he was involved as much with the preparation for the baby. I even took him shopping for the outfit the baby came home in. When we was talking about the baby we kept saying to him that this baby is going to be a lucky baby to have a big brother like you. Even after the baby was born i made sure that he was the first to hold her when she came home from hospital and let him help with things
