Pregnancy symptoms
5 Answers
I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my second child. I have been experiencing dizziness and breathlessness throughout most of this pregnancy. With my 1st i only had this in the last trimester and not as severe. I have had the usual blood tests and although i have voiced my concerns to my gp and the hospital i have had no answer to why i feel this way or a remedy.
Does anyone know what is causing this and how i can relieve it?
Thanks

I had those symptoms a couple of years ago but I wasnt pregnant. It was due to severe anemia. Could this be possible? Iron tablets sorted it out. I did have to have iron tablets with my 2nd pregnancy but I didnt have the symptom though. I hope you are feeling better soon and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
Thanks guys. I have bought some Pregnacare tabs which at 5 pounds for 30 is a bit expensive but the doctors just seemed to dismiss my worries in both pregnancies. I had some blood tests in the pregnancies but i don't know if they test for anaemia, i thought i could be a bit but i've been told my blood cell counts are normal and i don't have it! I'm convinced it's wrong though. I only get this in my pregnancies, once i give birth i'm fine. (Other than tired and sore! lol).
With my 1st i had these symptoms later on so i was convinced that the baby growing and lack of room was to blame and that the baby was pushing my lungs etc. But with this pregnancy i've had this for quite a while.
Anyway, i hope the pregnacare help me out as i am only 27 weeks and am so fed up now feeling this way.
Thanks for your suggestions, no doubt you'll see more posts from me soon. lol.
