Neck pain when running
4 Answers
I have been training at the gym 3 times a week for about 4 months. Last week I bought a pair of Nike running trainers and as soon as I started running on the treadmill I got a constant pain in my ankle that only went away when I stopped running. Iwas advised to buy a proper pair of trainers from a specialist sports shop, so I paid 65 for some proper training shoes. So, yesterday I tried them out but I still got the same pain in my ankle. Has anyone has this before or knows what it could be. Thanks.

Get yourself referred to a physiotherapist immediately, this may take some time via the NHS so get the yellow pages out and go private. Do not run on it. The longer you leave it without therapy the more chance there is of permanent damage.
There is a chance that you've just tweaked it and rest may sort it out. Personally i'd get my ass the the physio.
