I have not been employed long enough to receive paternity leave and have just had twins is there any help or benefits i can claim for to spend some more time helping my wife

I believe all new fathers are entitled to paternity leave, usually 5 days paid but a futher 2 weeks unpaid (I think).

If you are not entitled to paid you should look into unpaid, of course, not everyone is in a position to afford unpaid.
