I really dont know how to put this out: I've been separated from my husband for 10 months and we left each other cause he cheated on me with a 16 yr old girl. He is currently with her still. He has not helped me with my daughter for almost 2 months and has not called or looked for her. Now, Friday his mom called me and said that he had a lawyer for the divorce and that he was fighting his rights towards my daughter. I dont know what to do either to get a lawyer or what! I know He cant really do much cause he hasnt been there for us, I mean Im still legally his wife and he has not helped me with a dime. So what do I do? Do I get a lawyer and let them know what his doing and that his dating that girl? Th reason his doing this is becasue I told him the only way he can see his daughter is by coming and seen her at my house! And, please dont get me wrong. The reson I did this is because he would take her for the weekends but he would drop her off at his mom and leave here there all weekend so I mean he needed to spend time with her and then his girlfriend, right? I started noticing that my daughter woudl come home telling me about how her dad and the girl and then she would wanna kiss me with her mouth opened, so I started wondering what has she seen over there? Cause I have respect towards my kid. Then he would show at the house with hickeys! I feel like Im doing the right thing. But please let me know if Im wrong or waht should I do? KEEP IN MIND I'M A SINGLE MOM AND IT'S HARD.

My husband left me for a girl of 20 last year and it has been nothing but trouble since. He takes me to court to fight for certain days that he wants our boys when he gets his ways few wks later he decides its not for him, then wants them 1 day a week, goes on holiday every 4 mths never brings the kids anything back, doesnt give pocket money, takes no interest in anything they do, and then tells his solicotor hes a good father!! His g/f then calls me all the names going to our boys which they come back and tell me, refuses to go for his days out with them on his own all her family goes plus his mum, sister and her family! its driving my boys wild so last wk i went to my solicotor and told them to send him a letter that until further notice they wer'ent going with him nomore until he can proove he is a caring and loving father and not someone who shouts at them, runs their mum down and takes them to the same place every wk. Stick to your guns get a good lawyer and fight him they soon give upwhen they see you can be as strong as them and lets be honest like the girl mines with at 16 she'll soon get fed up with having a small child around her feet thats not hers. Go about it the right way show your a good loving mother, you'll be the winner in the end, good luck.
You can only do what you think is right at the time their is no right or wrong and you will come out of this a stronger and wiser woman, just keep telling yourself your the one with the class and dignity in all this and your daughter will lead by your example when she is older so you cannot lose there! Everyone always comes out of the problems they are going through it wont last forever it is just how you positivly deal and handle it thoughout that make the outcome a learning curve that enables you to move on.
Well I really appreciate everything everyone says to me here, I now were from different countries but a good advise is always good no matter from where it comes. I started everything with a lawyer 2 weeks ago and last weekend he looked for me and begged me but no I dont think so, it's not when he wants it. And that girl has just been causing problems between all his family and him and I but his mom knows that I dont really say much for the same reason. I had to call the cops on her yesterday and since shes a minor of course they went by what she said. But I have no worries cause I am so positive lately that I cant even believe it myself.
