should i take a test?

my cycle is usually 35- 39 days but last month it was 50 days before i came on, i put that down to stress. i am now on day 45 of my cycle and still havn't come on. i dont really feel pregnant my breasts feel weird and i keep getting thrush but other than that i hav,t got any other symtoms. my last pregnancy i never really felt pregnant, my breast felt weird. i miscarried that pregnacy. i feel reluctant todo a test in case i get yet other negative result, but then i might get a surprise. should i take a test? wot do u think??

i have a son whos 3 and am currently 24 weeks pregnant i knew before i did the test with my son it was going to be positive but then when i did the test this time i thought it was going to be negitive but got a major shock when it wasn't i didn't feel pregnant the only thing that made me take the test was me being 3 days late and having sore(ish) breasts.dont go out and spendloads on a test tho (just in case) get a supermarket own brand 1 they do the same job but if i were u i'd be peeing on a stick asap!better to know earlyon so u can get checked out and start taking folic acid to help baby.goodluck i hope you get the result your hoping for and everything turns out ok x
