i put mini boo in them from about a year old as i was in exactly the same boat as the one you're faced with now. And as for less washing????? Ha ha, you'd like to think huh? ;-)
I stopped using them when my daughter was about 2ish. I hadnt always used them during the previous summer but started using them again for the winter to keep her snug. But then again I didnt really have a problem with her running off as I was getting her dressed! lol

I never bothered ironing her baby vests though........was I lazy? lol
I have never ironed either of my twos vests!
My 8 year old has special ones to wear still to keep his gastrostomy tube in place! But my 10 month old will be in them until she is toliet trained then she will go onto sperate vest and knicks!
gosh, i am tired, my spelling is appalling!

morning, thanks for your suggestions,
ive decided to buy the seperate ones, with no poppers.
that way she'll benefit from the warmth as winter's approaching, and ill conserve energy by not having to chase her to do the poppers!
i see what you mean about the vain hope of less washing boo!
