That is getting to share your parenting experiences with the other parents/ parents to be.

Whether youre expecting your first baby or your fifth or whether yours are all grown up and planning families of their own, there is no end to the great advice and tips, not forgetting the funny stories, that we can all share with each other. It is always nice to catch up on the new arrivals and those still waiting to make their entrance into this world. We all know how hard it can be and there is not set rules or instructions when it comes to our little individual people and Im so glad of those on here who have been able to help me out, even if its just with reassurrance.

I have got to know some great mums on here who I will turn to time and again, one of those being redcrx, I hope your ok hun. Rest up well and take care and dont let the narrow mindedness of a few get to you, theyre not worth it and everyone else knows what a great mum you are and thats why so many turn to you for advice and reassurance :)

What a nice message for a Friday!

As a parent, i am always keen to put my ten-pence-worth in, and I always look forward to reading the different points of view that crop up.

As you so rightly say, we don;t get a manual with our kids, so we learn as we go, and experience hard-learned and passed on is usually the best kind.

Ahh, i do agree, sometimes it's so good to have some honest advice and it's very exciting checking to see who has gone into labour and what all the AB babies are up to now, when they do make an appearence!

Also to add (although not sure what happened in regards to Red), I always know that if I need advice Red is always there with good honest advice to which I am always grateful. So keep giving it our chick, we all value you as a ABer and mum! x x x

What a lovely bunch of ladies you all are,it must be so reassuring for all you young mums to know help is only a computer away.Mine are all grown up now and flown the nest,the happiest days of my life is when i had my sons(4 of them)as babies.Its all a learning process,my father said to me "when their babies they make your arms ache and when their all grown they make your heartache" how true this is,im now sitting in an empty nest.Enjoy every day with your children,you look around and their all grown up.I am now on to round 2,two lovely grandchildren.Be happy.
