A milk question again...
4 Answers
Henry had his 1st birthday two days ago and I have now replaced all formula with cows milk.
He is having: 150ml at 11.30am, 150ml at 3.30pm and 200ml at 8.30pm (bed time). I would like to cut down or stop the late morning and afternoon milks in exchange for a juice and maybe a snack and instead give him milk with his breakfast but I'm not quite sure whether I would give him the milk before his breakfast or near after? He has his breakfast at 8am ish which comprises of cereal with milk and a juice. TIA

Juice at mid morning with snack - usually fruit and breadsticks, then a probiotic yoghurt drink mid afternoon with a biscuit or scone or something. Then milk before bed (they are 8 and 7 now and still do the same ;o))
Happy Birthday Henry!
Our routine seems pretty similar to yours and Travis is just a month older. He has mid morning, mid afternoon and bedtime bottle the same. Whilst i am aiming to drop secong bottle soon, I intend to keep mid morning for a while yet. I stopped giving Travis milk 1st thing when he was 6 months and he has always been happy to get up have a play and wait for breakfast, without being dependent which i think is a good thing so I say keep going as you are if he is happy.
I also give mine plenty of water with meals and throughout the day.
