Age old question, how do you get a stubborn grandson to use a potty. He is just 3 and firmly refuses, daughter says should she now be really firm with him or wait a bit longer, she has tried most things, but is getting a bit embarrassed by him still being in nappies. He has a nearly 2 yr old sister and he thinks if she is still in nappies then he wants to be. Any help appreciated

Why don't you try skipping the potty and go straight for using the toilet. Stay in for a week or so....I'm sure he won't find it pleasant to be walking round in wet pants.
or just let him do it in his own time? He is only just 3, my lad was still in nappies at that time but we were trying pullups with him, the ones where the picture on front disappears when wet.

he may also be uncomfortable on a potty, try a seat on the toilet, or get a family seat like this http://www.heatandplu...se&utm_campaign=Feed1

when we get warm weather try leaving him with no nappy at home.

also try and get his sister to start trying to use potty / toilet too, girls are often a bit easier than boys to train.

the more pressure thats put on him, the less likely he will be to be at ease with it all and it will cause stress for all
Do like I did with mine, put a ping pong ball in the toilet for him to 'aim' at. BB
Ha-ha like that ping-pong ball idea, but only for peeing though.
